 The Hungarian Revolution and War of Independence of 1848/49 started on the 15th of March in 1848. It is a Hungarian national holiday, celebrated all across the country  and over sees by Hungarian communities.  

 

 

 

 

Hungarian FARSANG / Carnival, Dress-up Party for young and old, on the Gold Coast.

 

Known as Farsang in Hungarian, the carnival is all about saying goodbye to European winter with colorful costumes, lavish parties and tasty specialties.
